FFA Studio & Gallery Events

Due to ongoing health regulations, all group gatherings are subject to AHS COVID-19 Guidelines. Please consult the current guidelines to prepare for your visit to the gallery or the studio.

In 2020 FFAA opened a 2800 sq. ft. studio/gallery space in the at Strathearn Centre at 9532 – 87 Street in Edmonton AB – see map). The space is shared with the Alberta Council for the Ukrainian Arts (ACUA). The studio/gallery is used jointly as a multi-purpose space for meetings, workshops, exhibitions and open studio days.

The door at 9532 opens directly into the studio.

There is free parking in front and a café nearby. There are also tables and chairs available outside for visitors’ use during mild weather.

FFAA Sponsored Fibre Art Days

The 4th Saturday of the month from 9:30AM to 4:00PM,  FFAA is inviting members to book tables to work on their personal projects. There are 12 individual work spaces for sewing machines or handiwork, with access to a cutting table, irons and ironing boards. There is a small kitchen and a washroom as well. Current Covid-19 guidelines, as adopted by ACUA must be followed.

Gallery Exhibitions

Guilds and individual members are invited to showcase their fibre artwork in the gallery on a rotating basis. There is about 40 running feet of wall space with a modern installation system. Bookings for display space can be made for a period of one month for each member or member guild. Email studio@focusonfibreart.org for more information.
