Upcoming Workshop: Fibre Artist Books from Cover to Content

Instructor: Arlene Westen

This is a 2 day workshop taking place on 2 days a week apart. We are planning on running 2 separate sessions. The first session will be on Saturday October 22nd and October 29th. The second workshop will be on Monday November 7th and  November 14th.

Arlene Westen, the instructor for this workshop will present a trunk show and samples via Zoom prior to the workshop. Date to be confirmed. Location of the classes will be announced closer to the class date.

Classes will run from 10:00 AM until 4:30 PM with a half hour break for lunch. Tea and coffee will be provided. We recommend that you bring a bag lunch. Your registration fee includes materials you will use in the course.

Students will be required to bring some small tools and materials (various threads, hand sewing needles, blow dryer (to hasten the drying process if necessary), a laser photocopy of a high contrast image that can be black and white or colour, wet wipes or cleaning up rag, paint brushes or sponges in various sizes, optional fabric pens, stencils or stamps, embellishments, in addition to an apron, PPE, notebook and pen.
Your registration is considered confirmed upon payment of the workshop. Please send your $50 registration fee to treasurer@focusonfibreart.org
